RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY CHOIR
"Providing homeless youth an outlet for expression and empowerment."
Rhythm&Brains' Riverside Community Choir is a choral music program implemented in February 2014 at Path of Life Family Emergency Shelter (2 miles from UCR). It was started on the basis of providing homeless youth an outlet for expression and empowerment.
Volunteers, director, and accompaniments meet the kids every week to learn and rehearse popular song pieces. Towards the end of each school quarter, the kids put on a show for the shelter. Along with uniting the kids in singing, we have a field trip to UCR once a quarter to expose and encourage them to pursue higher education. Rehearsals
